Adam Levine was born on March 18, 1979. He was a born singer and co-founded the band Kara's Flower. He helped make this band when he was im highschool. He would later become the lead singer of the pop rock band maroon 5. As ada as m describes, his mother was the one that started him on the singing path, as he claims his family was always a music loving type. He has two uncles, a author and journalist named Timothy Noah and a tv producer Peter Noah. He is the newphew of Jordan Levine and has 2 brothers micheal and sam. When he was 7, his parents divorced, and he was forced to spend weekdays with his mother and weekends with his father, which he didnt mind. But over that, he was sent to parent divorce therapy, which he claims was a waste of time, and said that his parents could fathom that he was okay with the divorce. He attended Brentwood School, where he met fellow band mates, Jesse Carmicheal and Mickey Madden. He described his high-school self as a little rebelious as all he thought about in school was music.
James Valentine was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, and has 3 brother and two sisters. He is the lead guitarist for the band maroon 5. James is an Eagle Scout.He was the president of his high school Lincoln Southeast High School's student council in Lincoln, Nebraska. He graduated University of Nebraska–Lincoln and attended Berklee College. These are some of the band he played for: Montag, Kid Quarkstar, Mondello and Happy Dog.
Jesse was born in Boulder, Colorado. His father, Bob Carmichael, is a photographer, who also takes pictures during Maroon 5's tours. Jesse also has a younger sister, Annie. He first started playing the guitar in junior high, rather than the keyboards. Some time later, Carmichael, along with Adam Levine, Mickey Madden and Ryan Dusick, started a band called Kara's Flowers.
Madden was born in Austin, Texas. He began playing in junior high school at the Brentwood School in Los Angeles, playing in garages along with friends Jesse Carmichael and Adam Levine. After the break-up of Kara's Flowers, Madden attended classes at UCLA. After Madden attended college, the group reformed with guitarist James Valentine joining the line-up, and Jesse Carmichael mainly playing the keyboards, and pursued a new musical direction, changing their name to Maroon 5.
